CEO and Founder
Paul Benoit is the CEO and founder of Qarnot Computing and a graduate of Ecole Polytechnique and Telecom Paritech (X-Telecom). He is a seven-year banking expert, in particular in the field of high-performance computing (risk analysis, structured products). Paul previously created a web start-up in 2000. In 2010, he founded Qarnot Computing, a French company developing the disruptive Q.rad digital heater. The Q.rad is electric radiator using high-performance processors as a heat source. Totally silent, it gets computing instructions through the Internet. The heat produced by workload processing provides free and efficient heating for homes or any type of host. Through a thermal regulation system, processing power can be adapted according to the temperature requested by the occupants. This technology has been recognized by M. Jeremy Rifkin as a step toward the 3rd Industrial Revolution in Europe.
