Jason Williams currently serves as the Senior Systems Engineer and HPC Architect for the MARCC (Maryland Advanced Research Computing Center), managed by The Johns Hopkins University (JHU). In this role, Jason is responsible managing all aspects of site operations including technical and user related requests. Prior to his current role, Mr. Williams spent nine years working for various departments within JHU including the Physics, Astronomy and Computer Science groups. In these roles, Jason was the lead in designing, delivering and administrating various HPC and IT environments. One of which is the current Homewood High Performance Cluster (HHPC), also located at JHU.
Before joining JHU, Mr. Williams held a variety of IT related positions ranging from Web Developer to Field Engineer. Jason has attended school in Batavia, New York where he focused on Computer Information Systems.
