Manik Narayan Saha is the CIO for SAP Asia Pacific and Japan. Based in Singapore, Saha leads a global multinational and multicultural IT organization. As part of the SAP Senior Leadership team in APJ, he is responsible for SAP’s internal IT Strategy and IT Services delivery to 18,000+ employees in the region.

As companies rapidly move to a digital agenda, Saha works closely with the leadership team in APJ to deliver the internal digital roadmap. Committed to successful business transformation with technology, his experience includes IT strategy, governance, compliance, vendor management and building successful business-IT partnerships. Backed by 17 years of experience and expertise in technology, Saha provides thought leadership on a wide range of topics ranging from operating models, technology  strategy, process excellence and enterprise innovation and is an executive sponsor and advisor to several key clients of SAP in the region.

Passionate about giving back, Saha was the founding fellow and is currently the Honorary Secretary for Ideation Edge Asia, a non-profit organization passionate about evangelizing technology and innovations that shape business models in Asia, and facilitating collaboration of ideas that will make a difference to society.

Saha also voluntarily serves on the “Telecom Standards Advisory Committee” (TSAC), a prestigious committee chaired by the Information Development Authority(IDA) of Singapore, to help define signaling frameworks, communications standards and Next Generation Network (“NGN”) for the Internet of Things, Smart Homes, 5G mobile networks and wireless systems, and, communications security with the aim to deliver on Singapore’s vision to be a Smart Nation.

Prior to joining SAP in 2005, Saha worked at PSA Corporation (Singapore), in the shipping and logistics industry for 6 years, and was responsible for container operations systems, in Singapore and overseas.

Recently, Saha received the prestigious Certificate in Corporate Governance from INSEAD in March 2016, and is currently a member of the Insead Alumni Network and Insead International Directors Network. Previously, under a full scholarship from the Ministry of Education Singapore, Saha received his degree in Computer Engineering from Nanyang Technological University (Singapore). He also has a Masters in Applied Finance from the Singapore Management University.

Saha is a Singapore citizen and currently resides in Singapore with his wife and 2 children.
