GE Critical Power
Benjamin Zhang is the Asia growth leader for GE’s Critical Power business. In this role, he is responsible for driving and managing business growth for all critical power product lines (AC Power Systems, DC Power Systems and Embedded Power) in Asia. Zhang works closely with sales and other function teams to serve as the voice of the region to the business units and execute local strategies.
Zhang has more than 11 years of experience with GE. Previous roles include Asia marketing manager and China country sales manager for GE’s Critical Power business. In these roles, he oversaw product management for all critical power products in Asia, where he provided commercial support, product support and technical support, and led direct response on all commercial activities in China.
Prior to joining GE, Zhang’s roles included Asia marketing manager for Lineage Power, product manager for Tyco Electronics Power System, design engineer for Emerson Network Power and electrical engineer for State Grid Corporation of China.
Zhang attended Zhejiang University for both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees and obtained his MBA from BI Norwegian Business School.
