Lloyd Taylor is VP Cloud Infrastructure at Autodesk.  Autodesk is radically changing design, construction, manufacturing, and media through its Future of Making Things transformation.  Lloyd and his team are responsible for designing, building, and operating the global cloud infrastructure to support this massive transformation.

His previous professional work includes developing a worldwide infrastructure platform for mobile social media companies ngmoco and DeNA; rearchitecting LinkedIn’s infrastructure to deal with explosive growth; developing, implementing and operating an infinitely scalable physical infrastructure for Google's server farms; building out a worldwide performance measurement infrastructure for Keynote Systems; and developing one of the first managed hosting architectures while at Digex.

Prior to his work in the internet industry, he spent fifteen years at Johns Hopkins University, working in and teaching internet engineering, as well as developing several major projects for NASA and the US Government.  He holds BSCS and BSEE Degrees from Washington University in St. Louis, and an MSEE from Johns Hopkins University.
