Isao Kubo is General Manager of Internet Initiative Japan Inc., a company offering a variety of reliable and highly value-added solution services based on its backbone network and datacenters. He is responsible for defining Datacenter strategy and roadmap and operating more than 20 mission critical facilities across five countries for in-house and Colocation service.
He has successfully managed development and operation teams. His teams developed a cutting edge container module with outside air cooling system, built Japan’s first commercial container datacenter utilizing the modules for Cloud service in 2011 and achieved the dramatically reduction of cost and power consumption.
Prior to joining IIJ in 2008, he was with Teleway Japan merged with KDDI and worked for the telecom and datacenter industry over 20 years.
